Antonio Maceo and a group of patriots disembarked in Duaba Beach on April 1, 1895. It was declared a National Monument. The Week of the Culture of Baracoa takes place in commemoration of the disembarkation of Maceo in 1895. Between music, dances, food and drinks, its most genuine traditions are manifested. It ends with the pilgrimage on April 1st.
