B&B Eida Lujan
Street Real, Nº 49. Beach La Boca. Trinidad.
The Eida Luján Guest House was built on a slope so that the front rises more than one meter above street level. It is an enviable position to observe the sea, the mountains and the simple life of the fishing village of La Boca. A railing of blinds limits the view towards the portal, of those who walk down the street. But from the chairs in front you can see everything, like a king from his throne.
A portal of criollo tiles surrounds the house. There is always natural ventilation, shade and calmness. It is a place that encourages you to relax and let yourself be carried away by time, read a book or talk heartily. The hosts of the house are Mr. Luján, former professor of History of Cuba who speaks English and is a fan of diving and spearfishing; and Mrs. Eida, a wonderful cook. This couple of enterprising Cubans have rented their house since 2001. They are well known in La Boca beach for their jovial character and youthful spirit. In fact, they keep their years very well, just like their house.
They feel proud of their work, of the kindness that their guests return to them. All his life could be devoted to rent, because the desire to serve and please is part of his way of being.
