The Humanity’s center, declared historical Cultural Patrimony for UNESCO. Rich beaches and centers for the traditional Cuban music’s enjoyment. The house offers breakfasts and dinners (eat national and international), laundry service, besides a varied program of trips to places of tourist interest. The hosts are very pleasant youths, professionals and talkative, they dominate of Spanish as maternal language and English.

Nature in Cienfuegos is varied and abundant. It possesses marine, coastal and mountain ecosystems with great biological diversity. The province also has natural protected areas in Guanarroca and Yaguanabo Valley, where birds and mammals as the Puerco jibaro, the deer and jutia live. Likewise, Cienfuegos has a project of integrated management in the coastal areas linked to the Ministry of Science and Technology and Environment. Part of the natural treasures of Cienfuegos is Cuba’s oldest Botanic Garden, with an important reserve of flora. The place is considered the most complete germ plasm bank in the country.
In the territory of Cienfuegos, there are also natural forests, mainly El Nicho. It is a wonder of nature, dozens of waterfalls and natural ponds hide among the mountains. It is one of the most beautiful places in Cuba. It is a paradisiacal place where vegetation, rivers, waterfalls and picturesque peasant villages are combined. Guanaroca Lagoon invites you a walk along the west side of the bay, in the southeast sector, to discover an extraordinary place. It occupies an area of 2.2 km2 and its channel communicates with the bay. It is a protected area where important species of flora and fauna coexist, among which the pink flamingo stands out.
Yaguanabo Valley is an area between mountains, at the south of the Guamuhaya massif. It is one of the richest in the region. The river that gives name to the valley and crosses it offers a landscape of exceptional contrasts, flanked by intense greens. Its location between the massif and the coast propitiates beautiful images of the Caribbean Sea.

You can also visit in the city sites such as: the House of the Founder, statue of Benny, Club Cienfueguero. Other options are the Blue Palace, the Punta, the Reina cemetery, the Nuclear Plant and the Guanaroca Lagoon. There is also the Dolphinarium where you can enjoy an interactive show. Traditional Celebrations of Cienfuegos.
Cienfuegos is a city rich in culture and tradition. Different activities are celebrated during the year. The most important are the week of Cienfuegos culture in April and the Cienfuegos carnival in August. The biennial Benny Moré and the Procession are also held, in November and December respectively. Pays tribute to the protector of the city, the Lady of the Immaculate Conception.
